Architecture
Onyx connects your applications through 50-plus indexing connectors provided out of the box or via MCP. This means you can point it at your internal documentation, code repositories, databases, or file systems and immediately have an AI assistant that understands your data.
The deep research capability lets the agent browse multiple sources, cross-reference information, and compile comprehensive reports, similar to OpenAI’s deep research mode but running on your infrastructure.
